Navigating the Academic Frontier: Advancing Graduate Education in a Changing Landscape

The Council of Historically Black Graduate Schools (CHBGS) is a non-profit organization supporting graduate education and graduate schools nationwide. This organization has supported and promoted graduate education at Historically Black Colleges and Universities since 1970. 

The annual conference is attended by more than 50 graduate school administrators, faculty and staff from over 20 member organizations to discuss the state of graduate education and best practices in recruiting and retaining graduate students. Please see the list of member institutions.


A variety of opportunities are available to sponsors for the CHBGS 2025 conference. The following sponsorship packages provide a high degree of flexibility, including opportunities to address the conference attendees and communicate your company message.  

We are most willing to discuss the implementation of sponsorship or any other ideas you may have for participation in adding value for the delegates and exposure for your company. 

We hope to conclude sponsorship agreements before January 15, 2025, so we can include the names of the sponsors in our advertising and communications for the conference.
